Your appointment of Robert F Kennedy Jr and his confirmation as Health and Human Services Secretary has created great expectations that the Medical Profession will commit to and enforce the Hippocratic Oath ‘Do-No-Harm’ and comply with the Nuremberg Code 1947 and the 10 standards to which physicians must conform when carrying out experiments on human subjects.
‘Do-No-Harm’ is a principle in medicine that emphasises the importance of avoiding harm to patients during the course of receiving care, extending beyond physical injury to include aspects like dignity and respect. It involves minimising risks, providing full information, and respecting patients’ autonomy in decision-making processes.
The Nuremberg Code 1947 document enunciates the requirement of voluntary informed consent of the human subject, to protect the right of the individual to control their own body. This code also recognises that the risk must be weighed against the expected benefit, and that unnecessary pain and suffering must be avoided.
Relating the above to my own personal experience with the Medical Profession, in 2022 my wife Val and I were told by our local Doctor that the Vaccines are experimental and that we should wait, so we took his advice. In 2023 I got COVID19 and went to hospital unable to breathe. A Hospital doctor told me “Mr Smith you are going to die. Your lungs will not support you.” I replied “I am not going anywhere.” I could not understand the Doctor’s psychological reasoning but thought he might get a financial bonus if I died.
I was asked by a Hospital doctor why wasn’t I vaccinated. I told him that our doctor had advised the vaccines are experimental and we should wait. He asked me for the name of the Doctor and I told him no. He then asked me the name of the Medical Practice and I told him no. He then said that the Hospital would find out the name of the doctor and I replied the Hospital has no right to do this. After I had left Hospital my wife and I were told our doctor would no longer see us. It was blindly obvious he had been threatened with deregistration and loss of his profession and income.
A kindly nurse promised me she was not going to let me die and treated me with powerful steroids and remdesiver (nickname ‘run death is near’). At the end of the week I left the Hospital feeling that I had escaped death.
An outcome of having COVID19 is that my feet and lower legs feel as if they are frozen cold and painful, which disturbs my sleep.
In 2024 I had two visits to Hospital, once when finding it hard to breathe and then with the pain in my legs and feet making it impossible for me to walk. On both occasions after waiting hours without treatment, drink and food I discharged myself. On both visits I became convinced that the Hospital was milking my Private Health Insurance.
From my experience, the Medical Profession is only interested in money with no due regard and respect for their patient’s health and well-being. My Doctor and Specialists are unable to diagnose and treat my Long COVID19 medical condition which I have to accept and learn to live with.
EXISTING TAXES are a high component of the cost of establishing and operating a Healthcare System. The high paid Health Practitioners are subject to HIGH TAXES so they limit the days they work.2% LIBERTY TAX can slash the cost of Healthcare and give Health Practitioners the financial incentive to do a full week’s work to eliminate the shortage of Doctors etc.
Robert F Kennedy Jr needs to take account of the above in his decision making to provide to the American People a Government Funded Healthcare System and Private Healthcare Option that satisfies moral, ethical and legal concepts of patient care and well-being, based on patient informed consent.
